Located 27 miles west of Dayton, Wyoming, on U.S. Highway 14.

Pine Island Group Area

Forested Pine Island Group Area is situated on the banks of the South Fork of the Tongue River and offers a 3-sided shelter with several picnic and serving tables, group campfire ring and grill, volleyball area, and horseshoe pits. Fishing for a variety of trout is available at nearby Sibley Lake (1.75 miles) which also boasts a handicapped accessible fishing dock. Diverse trails in the area provide ATV access, scenic jeep roads, and day hiking routes. Medicine Wheel National Historic Landmark is within 27 miles, and nearby Arrowhead Lodge, Bear Lodge, and Elk View Inn provide off-road vehicle rentals, guided horseback riding, fishing adventures, dining, and showers.
