Dead Swede Campground

Dead Swede Campground nestles along the bank of the South Fork of the Tongue River and has a 20' boulder scramble within its boundaries.  With great fishing, hiking and ATV trails nearby, this family friendly camp offers newly renovated roads, spurs and tables with new concrete outhouses. Dead Swede is situated on the site of one historic tie hack camp from the railroad days and sports several grave sites, one of which gives the campground its name.
